Hughes will have shoulder surgery and will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

New Jersey announced Tuesday that their star forward Jack Hughes will miss the final four games of the season as he undergoes shoulder surgery. He is expected to be ready and fully recovered by training camp next season. Hughes's injury-riddled season comes to an close with his 74 points (27G / 47A) in 62 game

Bjugstad (undisclosed) is out on Tuesday and is expected to be out a bit longer than day-to-day.

Bjustad will miss his first game of the season on Tuesday in Seattle due to an undisclosed injury and is expected to be out a bit longer than day-to-day. The 31-year-old is having his best statistical season since 2017-18 with his career-high 22 goals, 45 points, 165 SOG, 59 PIMs and +11 plus/minus in 76 games this season.

Allen will start on Tuesday vs. Toronto.

With Kaapo Kahkonen battling a lower-body injury, the Devils have an easy decision to turn to Allen between the pipes. Allen has been solid since joining the Devils, posting a 2.73 GAA and .913 SV% in 10 games (5-4-1), including saving 29 of 30 (.967 SV%) in relief of an injured Kahkonen on Sunday, a 3-2 shootout loss to the Nashville Predators. The Devils enter action on Tuesday as +103 home underdogs against the Toronto Maple Leafs

Siegenthaler (concussion) will be back in the Devils' lineup on Tuesday.

Siegenthaler has been sidelined with a concussion since March 11th. He'll draw back into the Devils' lineup as they continue to make a push for an unlikely postseason bid. The Devils did not confirm who will come out to make room for Siegenthaler, who has nine points (1G / 8A) in 49 games this season.

The Devils will turn to Allen for a third consecutive game when they host the Penguins on Tuesday night. Allen allowed three goals on 34 shots enroute to a 5-2 loss to the Sabres on Friday. The 33-year-old netminder owns a 4-3-0 record and a .923 SV% in seven starts since being acquired from the Canadiens. He draws a favourable matchup on Tuesday with the Devils being -170 favourites against a tired Penguins team that will be playing their second game in as many nights.

The Flames are fresh off an impressive 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings and will roll with Markstrom in the crease for a second straight game. Markstrom has seen limited action the last month due to injuries but has allowed three or fewer goals in three straight (1-2-0), including saving 16 of 18 shots (.889 SV%) in his last outing. The Flames enter action on Tuesday as significant -233 home favourites.
