Allen stopped 26 of 30 shots (.867 SV%) in a winning effort his last time out as the Canadiens moved above .500 with a 7-4 win over St.Louis. The 32-year-old has had a solid start to the season, posting a .909 SV% to go along with his 2.86 GAA and 3-3-0 record. He takes on a surging Minnesota Wild team that is coming off a 4-3 victory over Chicago and has gotten points in five of their last six games (4-1-1).

Palat has been placed on the injured reserve retroactively to October 24th. The team will make a decision Monday on his next course of action.

He will look to keep the Flames in the win column yet again against a Vegas team that has only given up five goals in their first three games.

Allen and his wife are expecting a baby, so he will sit out of Monday's game vs. the Penguins. With Allen unavailable, Cayden Primeau was recalled from Laval (AHL) to serve as Sam Montembeault's backup.
