Hogberg allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Senators loss in Edmonton last Tuesday. Hogberg has been lit up all season, posting a 4.54 GAA and .844 SV% in three starts and a relief appearance. Another matchup vs. Edmonton means he should remain on the waiver wire.

It's unclear whether or not Boqvist will actually play on Tuesday, since the Blackhawks have played pretty well as of late. If he does play, he will most likely replace Nicolas Beaudin.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Islanders win over the Penguins on Saturday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Varlamov, who is now 4-2-1 with a 2.14 GAA and .921 SV% in his first seven starts of the season. Tonight he'll face a Rangers team that has won three of their last four (3-0-1). Varlamov posted a 24-save shutout in his first start vs. New York.

Foudy had a tough night vs. the Hurricanes on Sunday, going pointless with a minus-3 rating in 12:35 TOI. Tonight he'll be a healthy scratch for the second time in three games--Mikhail Grigorenko will replace him.


The Canadiens have started a rotation on their third pair, so tonight Romanov will replace Victor Mete and skate with Brett Kulak. After a hot start to the season, Romanov has been held pointless in his last six games.

Foudy will come out of the lineup on Thursday as he heads to the taxi squad with Nathan Gerbe coming up. It looks as if Riley Nash will replace Foudy in the lineup.


Hogberg allowed five goals on 22 shots after replacing Matt Murray in the Senators loss in Edmonton on Sunday. Hogberg has struggled mightily this season, allowing five goals in all three of his appearances so far, posting a 4.71 GAA and .845 SV% overall.



It looks like Mikhail Maltsev will make his NHL debut on Sunday, replacing Palmieri in the lineup. The Devils did not mention any injury news, so Palmieri may be a healthy scratch.
