Mancini spent only three games with Hartford (AHL) and has been recalled on Friday to the Rangers. The 22-year-old towering defensemen made a significant impact during his short nine-game stint with New York to start the season, picking up a goal, four points and 13 SOG while averaging 15:21 TOI.

The Rangers will likely turn to Shesterkin between the pipes on Thursday against the Calgary Flames. Shesterkin has struggled lately, posting a .842 SV% in his last four games (2-2-0) after being excellent in his first nine (6-2-1) with a .933 SV%. The Rangers, winners of three straight, enter the action on Thursday as -150 road favorites against a Flames club on a two-game winning streak despite scoring only three total goals.

Chytil exited last Thursday's game after playing 9:37 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury and has not played since. The 25-year-old Chytil has battled injuries the past two seasons but was having a strong 2024-25 campaign with nine points (4G / 5A) in 15 games. Jonny Brodzinski has drawn into the lineup since Chytil's absence.
