Georgiev will start on Saturday in Nashville.

Colorado has begun to show more trust in Justus Annunen, starting two of the last four games, but will return to their workhorse Georgiev on Saturday. Georgiev was excellent in his last outing, saving 33 of 34 shots (.971 SV%) in a statement 5-1 victory over their division rivals, the Dallas Stars. Georgiev and the Avalanche will face off against a Nashville Predators club that has outscored their opposition by a whopping 32-12 margin during a seven-game winning streak.

Vlasic has not played the last two games due to an upper-body injury but could return to the lineup on Thursday night against the Anaheim Ducks. The 36-year-old defender was quietly productive before his injury, scoring four points (3G / 1A) in his last seven games, his most productive seven-game stretch since the 2018-19 season.

Kunin played in the Sharks last game but is dealing with an undisclosed ailment, making his status uncertain for Saturday's game against the Nashville Predators. The bruising forward has been held off the scoresheet in 12 of his last 13 games.

White was with Pittsburgh since the beginning of January but was placed on waivers by the team on Wednesday before being claimed by Montreal. White played 11 games with Pittsburgh this season and failed to register a point. He will make his debut for the Canadiens on Thursday against the team that waived him.

White has been with Pittsburgh since the beginning of January but has been placed on waivers with the intention of being reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL). White played 11 games with Pittsburgh this season and failed to register a point.
