The Kraken have placed Andre Burakovsky (lower-body) on IR.

Burakovsky left Seattle's previous game vs. the Islanders after just one shift and 0:21 TOI due to a lower-body injury and has been placed on the injured-reserve Thursday. The 28-year-old left winger had 13 goals, 26 assists, 105 SOG, 14 PIMs and a -9 plus/minus in 49 games in his first season with the Kraken.

Matty Beniers is not available for the Krakens' final two games before the All-Star break (upper body).

Beniers left the Krakens' previous game vs. Vancouver after 9:52 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will miss their next two games this weekend (Calgary and Columbus). The 20-year-old leads the Norris Trophy race with his 17 goals, 19 assists, 92 SOG, and a +8 plus/minus through 47 games prior to the injury.

Justin Schultz has been placed on the injured reserve (undisclosed).

Schultz missed the Kraken's previous two games as he dealt with an undisclosed injury and is considered week-to-week. The 32-year-old will hope to be back soon as he has five goals, 19 assists, 59 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 42 games prior to the injury. Carson Soucy will replace Schultz on the second powerplay unit.

Beniers was forced to leave Wednesday's game vs. the Canucks after a hit from Tyler Myers and did not return. The Kraken did not have much of an update on Beniers' status post-game, so consider him questionable to play Friday against Calgary.

Schwartz hasn't played since January 12th and is doubtful but a game-time decision to play Wednesday vs. Vancouver. The 30-year-old veteran has 10 goals, 13 assists, 85 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 40 games played prior to the injury.

Grubauer allowed three goals on 35 shots (.914 SV%) to snap a two-game losing streak with a victory over Buffalo in his last start. The 31-year-old has struggled yet again in his second season in Seattle, with his 4-7-1 record, 3.49 GAA and .885 SV%. He will face the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have won their last three games and are fifth in the NHL in goals per game (3.59).
