Dean has appeared in two games with the Blues this season but will head to the press box on Saturday vs. San Jose as Sammy Blais takes his spot. The 21-year-old rookie has yet to pick up his first career point, but has two PIMs and a -1 plus/minus.

Marco Scandella replaced Bolduc on Monday, as the Blues went with an 11-forward, seven-defenseman formation. Bolduc has been a lineup-regular for the Blues over the last month and will return to the lineup on Thursday against the Calgary Flames. Bolduc has two points (0G / 2A) in his last six games.

He will be re-evaluated in six months.

The extent of Oskar Sundqvist's lower-body injury is not yet known but head coach Drew Bannister has confirmed that the forward will be out on Thursday vs. Calgary. The 30-year-old veteran has been having an average season as far as personal production in his first year in St. Louis, with his six goals, 21 points, 68 SOG and 32 PIMs in 71 games played before the injury.
