Binnington will start Saturday vs. the Stars.

Binnington allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Blues loss to the Jets on Thursday. Binnington has now given up at least three goals in six straight starts, going 2-3-1 with a 3.68 GAA and .860 SV% over that stretch. In his first start vs. the Stars, Binnington allowed two goals on 29 shots in a 3-2 win (Oct.5).

Binnington recorded his 24th win of the season but has now given up three-plus goals in five consecutive starts. The second-year netminder is now 16-3-4 with a 2.23 GAA, .921 SV% and one shutout on home ice this season and is 2-1-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .907 SV% in three games vs. the Jets.

Binnington allowed three goals one 31 shots in the Blues loss in Winnipeg on Saturday. Binnington has given up at least three goals in four straight starts, going 1-2-1 with a 4.02 GAA and .847 SV%. Tonight he faces a Hurricanes team that is on a four-game losing streak on the road while being outscored 18-to-11.

Binnington was yanked after surrendering four goals on 11 shots in the Blues loss in Colorado on January 18th. Binnington struggled in the week leading up to the All-Star break, giving up a combined eight goals on just 36 shots (.778 SV%). However, he's been sensational against the Flames this season, winning both starts while stopping 67 of the 69 shots (.971 SV%) that he's faced.

The Stars have activated Radek Faksa (lower-body) from IR; expected to play Monday.

Faksa missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but will play tonight vs. the Lightning. Faksa, who will centre Andrew Cogliano and Blake Comeau, has 16 points (9G / 7A) in 45 games this season.

Parayko has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury but will play Monday in Vancouver. Parayko will likely replace Robert Bortuzzo or Carl Gunnarsson and enters play with 13 points (2G / 11A) in 42 games this season.

Binnington allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Blues overtime loss to the Flyers on Wednesday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Binnington, who will make his 35th start of the season this afternoon. He has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.45 GAA and .885 SV% in his first three starts against the Avalanche.
