Binnington will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Binnington allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Blues win in Calgary on Saturday. Binnington has now won five in a row and has given up just 11 goals on 162 shots (.932 SV%) over that stretch. He is proving that the second-half of 2019 was not a fluke and that he is in fact one of the best goalies in the NHL right now. He is a terrific option against a Coyotes team that played in Washington last night.

The Blue Jackets have activated Alexandre Texier (knee) from IR.

Texier missed four games with a knee injury that he suffered in Philadelphia on October 26th. A combination of Jakob Lilja and Kole Sherwood helped replace Texier, who will reclaim his spot in the Columbus bottom-6 in Arizona on Thursday night. Texier has two goals on 15 shots (13.3 SH%) and one assist in 11 games this season.
