Joshua (upper body) will not play vs. New Jersey on Tuesday.

Joshua is battling an upper-body injury and will not play on Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils. The severity of his injury has not been disclosed, and it is unclear whether it will affect his availability for Toronto's next game on Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 29-year-old Joshua has 10 points (6G / 4A) and 127 hits in 36 games this season.

Tanev (lower body) will not play vs. New Jersey on Tuesday.

Tanev has only played three games since returning from a seven-week absence due to an injury and will return to the sidelines on Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils. The 36-year-old Tanev has been plagued with injuries this season, limited to only 11 games, recording two assists and 15 blocks.

Hildeby will start vs. Detroit on Sunday.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Maple Leafs will turn to Hildeby on Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 24-year-old Hildeby was excellent as Toronto’s de facto starting goalie while Joseph Woll was injured, posting a 1.05 GAA and a .958 SV% in six outings (3-1-2), but has struggled since, losing three straight (0-3-0) while posting a 4.70 GAA and .928 SV%.

Woll will start Saturday vs. the Senators.

Woll allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Maple Leafs' 6-3 win over the Penguins on Tuesday. Since returning to the Maple Leafs' crease in mid-December, Woll has gone 2-1-0 while stopping 81 of 89 shots (.910 SV%) in three games. Tonight he draws a tough matchup vs. The Senators, who have eon four of their last five games. Toronto are +116 home underdogs.

Woll will start vs. Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

The Maple Leafs' management hopes yesterday’s firing of assistant coach Marc Savard will spark the struggling team as they turn to Woll to tend the twine on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Disappointing season aside, the Maple Leafs have consistently received adequate netminding from Woll, who has a 2.46 GAA and .921 SV% in 10 games (5-4-1). Unfortunately for Woll, the Maple Leafs have the third-worst offense in the league since the beginning of December (2.22 GF/GP).

Tanev (undisclosed) will return to Toronto's lineup vs. Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Tanev has not played since November 1st, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Regularly one of the league's best shot blocked, Tanev will provide needed stability on a Maple Leafs' blueline that has been plagued with injuries.

Hildeby will start in Washington on Thursday.

Joseph Woll played well in his return from a lower-body injury in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, but the Maple Leafs seem to be easing the often-injured netminder back into action, turning to Hildeby on Thursday against the Washington Capitals. The 24-year-old Hildeby struggled in his most recent outing, allowing six goals on 32 shots (.813 SV%) in a 6-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers. That said, the Swedish netminder had been excellent between the pipes, posting a 1.85 GAA and .933 SV% in 10 games (3-4-3) before his blip against the Oilers. The Maple Leafs enter the action on Thursday as +135 road underdogs against a Capitals team that has been outscored 10-1 in their last two games (0-2-0).
