Domi was added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday and is not expected to be available for Wednesday's game in Colorado. Like when he missed time with a rib injury, look for Yegor Chinakhov to replace him in the lineup.

Murray is working his way back from a head/neck injury that he suffered on October 23rd vs. the Rangers. It looks likely that Murray will start one of the Senators' back-to-back games on Monday or Tuesday. I would bet Filip Gustavsson will start Monday and Murray goes Tuesday in Minnesota to give him an extra day of recovery.

Domi has missed the last four games but will replace Yegor Chinakhov in the lineup on Friday. Domi will skate on the third line and second PP unit in New York.

Rielly was set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season but the extension now carries him through the 2029-30 NHL season. It's been a tough start to the season for Rielly, who is 30th among defensemen in points (66) since the start of the 2019-20 season.

Reaves was hurt early in Monday's game vs. the Flames and did not return. Moving Reaves to IR means that the Rangers will not have to make a move to activate Kaapo Kakko, who is expected to return to the lineup on Friday.

Activating Domi suggests that he could return to the lineup on Friday. Domi missed the last four games but had a great start to the season, scoring one goal with three assists (four points) in his first two games.

Murray was hurt late in Saturday's game vs. the Rangers in a collision with Chris Kreider. Murray was removed and Anton Forsberg finished the game for the Senators. Look for Forsberg and Filip Gustavsson to man the Senators net moving forward.

Domi had a great start to the season, picking up four points (1G / 3A) in his first two games. In that second game, he fractured his ribs and will miss at least two weeks. With Domi out, Yegor Chinakhov will make his NHL debut on the third line.

Matthews missed the first three games of the season but was on the ice for Sunday's practice and is planning on playing tomorrow. Matthews has averaged 59 goals per 82 games over the last two seasons and could have a legitimate chance at 60 goals in 2021-22.

With John Gibson out with an injury, Stolarz will start the second game of the season. Stolarz has been terrific in eight career starts with Anaheim, going 4-4-0 with a 2.18 GAA and. 929 SV%. It's not the ideal matchup, facing a Wild team that ranked ninth in scoring (3.21 GF/gm) last year but he's a decent option if you're desperate for a late-week starter.
