McCabe was hurt against Anaheim and did not return on Tuesday and will miss at least three games after undergoing thumb surgery this week. There’s no word how McCabe suffered the injury, but he recorded three blocked shots on Tuesday, so you have to think one of those shots did the damage.

Murray has missed the last five games while he was attending to a family matter in Ontario but was back at practice on Monday, which suggests that he could be available to start Tuesday’s game vs. the Hurricanes.

Muzzin has missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury but he took a regular rotation at even strength and on the power-play in Wednesday’s practice, so look for him to play tomorrow. Muzzin has had a nice year, picking up 23 points (3G / 20A), 90 shots and 80 blocked shots in 41 games.
