Guenther (lower-body) will return vs. Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Guenther has not played since January 8th, missing 12 games, but will likely make his return on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Flyers. The 21-year-old Guenther has had a productive 2024-25 campaign, scoring 34 points (16G / 18A) in 40 games. That said, he only has two points (0G / 2A) in his last eight contests. Lawson Crouse will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Guenther's return to the lineup.

Utah has acquired Sammy Walker from Minnesota for future considerations.

Walker was a seventh-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He has two points (1G / 1A) in 13 career NHL games and has predominantly been an AHL player since graduating from the University of Minnesota in the 2021-22 season. The 25-year-old forward has 11 points (2G / 9A) in 30 games with the Iowa Wild (AHL) this season.

Sammy Walker
Cooley will be out indefinitely with a lower-body injury.

Cooley showed no signs of an injury in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, recording an assist and playing 17:47 time-on-ice, but will be out indefinitely due to a lower-body injury. The 20-year-old forward has been enjoying a tremendous season with Utah, scoring 43 points (15G / 28A) in 50 games.

Logan Cooley
Vejmelka will start vs. Columbus on Friday.

Utah HC finds themselves in a three-game losing skid and will attempt to return to the win column with Vejmelka between the pipes on Friday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Vejmelka allowed three goals on 27 shots (.889 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 3-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The 28-year-old Czech netminder is sporting a solid 2.47 GAA and .912 SV% through 30 appearances this season (11-14-3).

Sergachev has missed five straight games with an upper-body injury but could return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 26-year-old defenseman is averaging a monstrous 25:45 time-on-ice, a career-high, recording 30 points (8G / 22A), 81 blocks, and 23 hits in 44 games this season.

Maccelli will be a healthy scratch vs. Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

Utah HC head coach Andre Tourigny refused to provide insight on Maccelli being a healthy scratch other than it being an "internal decision." The 24-year-old Maccelli is averaging 13:58 time-on-ice and has 17 points (8G / 9A) in 48 games this season. Michael Carcone will draw into the lineup as Maccelli's replacement.

Utah HC has lost two straight, including a 5-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets when Ingram allowed four goals on 28 shots (.857 SV%), but he will return to the crease on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 27-year-old Ingram has a 3.34 GAA and .880 SV% in 17 appearances (8-6-3) but has been better since returning from an injury earlier this month, posting a .908 SV% in four games (2-2-0). Utah enters Wednesday's contest as -133 home favorites against a Pittsburgh team outscored 11-3 during a three-game losing skid.

Michael Carcone will draw back into Utah's lineup on Friday against the Winnipeg Jets, sending O'Brien to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 30-year-old O'Brien is averaging 9:22 time-on-ice, recording zero points, 24 penalty minutes, and 50 hits in 12 games.

Utah has outscored their opposition 13-4 during a three-game winning streak and will switch to Ingram between the pipes on the tail end of a back-to-back. Utah enters Friday's contest as +190 road underdogs against a Winnipeg Jets squad that defeated them 3-0 in their only other meeting this season.

Vejmelka has struggled lately, allowing nine goals on 51 shots (.824 SV%) in his last two games (0-2-0). He has a 2.54 GAA and .910 SV% in 28 appearances this season (10-13-3). Utah HC enters Thursday's contest as +131 road underdogs against a Minnesota team that will welcome Kirill Kaprizov back into the lineup.
