Ingram looks poised for another strong performance on Monday as the Coyotes are -126 home favourites against a Capitals team that has scored more than two goals only once in their last five games (2-3-0).

Valimaki will play his first game since November 14th, when he took a puck to the face. Before his injury, Valimaki skated predominantly alongside Troy Stecher and recorded four points (0G / 4A) in 15 games while averaging 18:13 time-on-ice.

Deservedly so, Ingram will start for the third consecutive game after rotating starts evenly with Karel Vejmelka for the first six weeks of the season. This news isn't all that shocking given his heroic performance in his most recent outing where he saved all 34 shots he faced in a 2-0 shutout victory over the Vegas Golden Knights. Since then, Vejmelka has allowed 26 goals in seven appearances (0-5-2), posting an ugly .876 SV%. The Coyotes will hope Vejmelka can get back into the win column as they face off against the Blues, who are scoring at the seventh-lowest rate this season (2.71 GF / GP).

The Coyotes will turn back to Ingram on Monday as the team remains intent on evenly rotating between their two goaltenders, even though Ingram has been far more reliable this season. Of the Coyotes' eight wins this season, six belong to Ingram, who has put together an impressive 2.75 GAA and .918 SV% in eight appearances (6-1-0). That said, the Coyotes are +132 home underdogs against a Los Angeles Kings team that has points in 10 of their last 11 (9-1-1).

Hayton has been placed on the injured reserve Saturday and will miss 4-6 weeks. Hayton scored a goal for the Coyotes despite exiting the game with an upper-body injury after playing only 7:57 time-on-ice. The Coyotes finished the game down two forwards as Matias Maccelli also exited the game but was more fortunate than Hayton with his post-game prognosis, as he is not expected to miss much (if any) time. Hayton had four points (2G / 2A) in his last five games after being held without a single point in his first 11.

Arizona's goaltending carousel continues Saturday as Karel Vejmelka takes the crease hoping to snap a person's six-game losing streak. The 27-year-old Czech netminder has struggled to win in 2023-24 but is putting up career-highs in almost all other statistical categories as he is 2-5-2 with a 3.08 GAA and .906 SV%. They will look to slow down Winnipeg Saturday on the road, who has won five of their last six games and are 6th in the NHL in goals per game (3.63).
