Vejmelka will start Friday vs. Boston.

Vejjmelka allowed three goals on 27 shots (.889 SV%) in his second straight loss in a defeat to Calgary in his last start. The 26-year-old has had a great season to date, with his 6-7-3 record, 3.03 GAA and .912 SV%. He takes on the Boston Bruins, who have won four of their last five games and lead the Atlantic Division.

Connor Ingram will start Wednesday vs. Edmonton.

Ingram allowed four goals on 29 shots (.862 SV%) as he lost his fifth straight start in a defeat to Minnesota on Nov.27th, his last game. The Coyotes' backup netminder has been horrendous this season, with a 1-5-1 record, 3.57 GAA and .887 SV%. He faces off against the Edmonton Oilers, who will hope their third-ranked PP (29%) can help improve their 10th-ranked goals per game (3.42) in the NHL.

John Marino is considered day-to-day after not practising Wednesday (upper body).

Marino has played in all 23 Devils' games this season and will be a massive blow if he is forced to miss time due to an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old has been a revelation in his first season with New Jersey, with two goals, six assists and a +15 plus/minus through 23 games.

Vejmelka will start Friday in Detroit.

Vejmelka picked up his second shutout of the early season stopping all 36 shots vs. Carolina in his last start. The 26-year-old has enjoyed a solid quarter of the season, posting a 6-5-1 record with a .916 SV% and 2.98 GAA. He will take on the Detroit Red Wings who are currently on a three-game winning streak.

The Coyotes have acquired Curtis Douglas from the Maple Leafs for Conor Timmins.

Douglas is best known for his massive 6'9" frame and will head to Arizona with hopes of making the Coyotes' roster at some point this season. In 13 games with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) he had one assist and 30 PIMs with a -2 rating. He was dealt for defensemen Conor Timmins Wednesday.

Dylan Guenther is back in the Coyotes' lineup Wednesday vs. Carolina.

Guenther was a healthy scratch for the Coyotes' previous game but will draw back into the lineup Wednesday. The 19-year-old rookie has been having a strong start offensive start to his season with three goals and four assists but struggled defensively with a -9 plus/minus through 15 games played.
