Hayton suffered a hand injury vs. the Blackhawks on Thursday and will require "minor" surgery. Hayton is expected to miss at least five weeks, so he'll be out of the lineup until mid-to-late February.
Yamamoto was pulled off of the ice at Friday's practice and will not be available for at least five days. Luckily all of the Oilers games have been cancelled except for Monday's meeting with the Senators on Monday. As of now, that game is scheduled to go ahead and the Oilers would be without Yamamoto for that game.
Bjugstad was reportedly in a lot of discomfort after getting hurt in Tuesday's practice and will not play in Thursday's game in Boston. Connor Dewar is expected to replace Bjusgstad on the Wild's fourth line.
Maatta cleared COVID-19 protocol on Monday and skated on the second pair with Matt Roy on Wednesday. Maatta heads into Thursday with three points (1G / 2A) in 19 games this season.
Maccelli was expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday but will not after testing positive for COVID-19.
Maccelli was a fourth-round pick in 2019 and has played very well in his first season in North America. Maccelli leads Tucson (AHL) with 21 points (7G / 14A) in 21 games this season.
Crouse missed one game while in COVID-19 protocol thanks to the early shutdown and Christmas break. Crouse, who has 11 points (6G / 5A) in 28 games this season, should be back in the Coyotes' top-6.
Marino was one of five players added to the protocol list on Monday, bringing the Penguins total to six. This group will likely miss at least the next two games.
