DeBrusk was set to become an RFA this summer but signs a two-year extension with the Bruins. DeBrusk asked for a trade earlier in the season, so this could be a sign-and-trade scenario. He has found his game since being promoted to the top line, scoring eight goals with three assists (11 points) in his last 14 games.
Hoglander was not on the ice for the morning skate and is questionable to play Saturday vs. the Red Wings. If Hogander can't play, expect Nic Petan to suit up on the Canucks' third line.
Pettersson has missed the last two games but will be a game-time decision on Thursday. He practiced on Wednesday and took part in Thursday's morning skate, both good signs that he'll be available vs. the Red Wings.
