Hronek missed Wednesday's practice and his status for Thursday's game vs. the Capitals is uncertain. Monitor his availability when the Red Wings hit the ice for warmups at 7:00 PM ET.

With Jake Neighbours being sent to the WHL on Wednesday, Joshua comes up to take his spot on the roster. Joshua has not registered a point in three games with the Blues this season but has four points (1G / 3A) in seven AHL games.

Pettersson has missed the last three games while in COVID-19 protocol but was on the ice for Wednesday's practice and will be a game-time decision on Thursday. Pettersson skated on the third pairing with Chad Ruhwedel (also a game-time decision) in the session.

Chytil was hurt in his first shift on Saturday and will not play Monday vs. the Panthers. With Chytil out, Kevin Rooney will likely serve as the Rangers' No.3 centre.

Chytil exited Saturday's game in Calgary after his first shift and did not return. Head coach Gerard Gallant did not have an update on Chytil's status post-game, so his availability for Monday's game remains in question. Julien Gauthier, who is currently the only reserve forward on the Rangers' roster, will likely replace Chytil if he can't play.

Sherwood has been great in the AHL this season, leading the league with seven goals and tied for third in points (10). With Mikko Rantanen and Andre Burakovsky likely unavailable, Sherwood will make his season debut on Wednesday. The 26-year-old has 16 points (6G / 10A) in 76 career NHL games.
