Samsonov struggled in Vegas' most recent contest, allowing five goals on 19 shots (.737 SV%) in a 5-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings, but he will return to the crease on Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 28-year-old netminder has a 2.82 GAA and .891 SV% in 23 games this season (13-8-2). The Golden Knights enter the action on Thursday as enormous -396 home favorites against a Blackhawks squad that scored two or fewer goals in three straight (0-3-0).

Samsonov will make his first appearance since February 8th when the Golden Knights travel to Los Angeles on Monday. Samsonov picked up the win in that outing, allowing three goals on 24 shots enroute to a 4-3 victory in Boston. The 27-year-old netminder owns a 13-7-2 record and an .897 SV% on the season. Samsonov and the Golden Knights enter action on Monday at -115 on the money line.











The 24-year-old Lavoie is yet to register a point through three NHL games in his rookie season. Goaltender Akira Schmid was recalled in a corresponding move.

Both Ilya Samsonov are healthy and dressing for Thursday night's game, so it's unclear why Schmid was recalled. Raphael Lavoie was re-assigned to Henderson in a corresponding move.

The Golden Knights will attempt to snap a four-game losing skid on Thursday, turning to Hill between the pipes against the New Jersey Devils. Hill has struggled lately, allowing four goals in four of his last five games (1-2-2), posting a .883 SV%. The 28-year-old netminder has a 2.69 GAA and .900 SV% in 33 games this season (19-10-4). The Golden Knights enter Thursday's contest as -112 road favorites against a Devils squad with a 4-2-0 record in their last six games.

Jonas Rondbjerg will draw back into the Vegas lineup on Thursday against the New Jersey Devils, resulting in Korczak being a healthy scratch. The 24-year-old Korczak dressed as a seventh defenseman for the Golden Knights in their most recent game and was limited to only 3:34 time-on-ice.
