Schwindt returned to the Flames lineup on Thursday, his first game since January 27th, and has been reassigned to the Calgary Wrangles (AHL). The 22-year-old rookie right-winger has appeared in four games this season for the Flames, playing a minor role and picking up one SOG, two PIMs, and a -1 plus/minus while averaging less than seven minutes time-on-ice.

Kallionkieli was the 5th-round pick of the Golden Knights in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old Finn has yet to play an NHL game and has spent part of this season playing overseas.

Theodore has not played since mid-November after undergoing surgery for an upper-body injury but appears to be nearing a return after being a full participant at practice on Wednesday. Theodore was pacing for the most productive season of his career with 18 points (4G / 14A) in 20 games and will likely draw back onto the top powerplay unit upon his return. Head coach Bruce Cassidy stated "I think next week is probably more realistic" in regards to his return.

Samsonov will return to the crease for the Maple Leafs on Thursday night, giving him seven of their last eight starts. Samsonov was excellent on Tuesday night, albeit lightly tested, needing to save only 14 of 15 shots (.933 SV%) in a commanding 4-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues. After being sent down to the Toronto Marlies last month, Samsonov has flipped a switch on his season, allowing three or fewer goals in five of his last six games (5-1-0) while posting a stellar .927 SV%.

Dorofeyev has not played since before the All-Star break, missing four games with an upper-body injury. The 23-year-old left-winger surpassed his previous career high in games played and points in a season as he's racked up seven goals, 14 points, 63 SOG, and a +5 plus/minus thus far in 29 games played.

Hutton has been out of the lineup since December 28th with an upper-body injury. Despite being out of the lineup for six weeks, the 30-year-old defenceman has almost surpassed his games played from last season and has a goal, eight assists, 46 SOG, 15 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus in 31 games played.

Olofsson has not played since January 20th, missing five games, but will re-enter the lineup on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings. After posting a career-high 28 goals in 75 games last season, Olofsson has struggled offensively, tallying only 12 points (4G / 8A) through 33 games.



Whitecloud sat out Thursday's game but will return to the lineup on Monday against the Wild. He'll skate alongside Nicolas Hague on the team's third defensive pairing.

Stone missed practice over the weekend due to the illness but is good to go for Monday's game against Minnesota. Stone has been able to stay healthy and enjoy a productive year with the Golden Knights, scoring 15 goals and adding 36 assists in 52 games.

Rondbjerg missed the Golden Knights' skate on Saturday due to illness but is expected to be good to go vs. Minnesota on Monday after taking part in the team's morning skate. The 24-year-old third-year pro has only appeared in 16 games for the Golden Knights this season and has three points, (1G/2A) 18 SOG, and a +4 plus/minus.

Hill will start for the fifth time in the last six games when he tends the twine of Monday night. The 27-year-old Hill has been exceptional since returning from injury, winning each of his four starts, allowing two or fewer goals in each, posting a sensational .947 SV%. The Golden Knights will attempt to extend their two-game winning streak as -142 home favourites against a Minnesota Wild club that has scored three or fewer goals in each of their last four games (2-2-0).

With Vitek Vanecek battling an illness and lower-body injury, the Devils have recalled Akira Schmid from the Utica Comets of the AHL. Schmid started the season with the Devils but was demoted to the AHL after a poor start. The 23-year-old Schmid has struggled at the AHL level as well this season, posting a 3.58 GAA and .885 SV% in 12 games (3-5-4).

Hertl last played on January 27th and sat out for two games before participating in the All-Star game. The Sharks have not played since and announced on Monday that Hertl will undergo a surgical procedure on his left knee that will keep him out of the lineup for several weeks. Hertl had 15 goals, 34 points, 113 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -26 plus/minus in 48 games before his injury. With Mikael Granlund nearing a return, offensive responsibilities will fall heavily on him and Logan Couture.
