Ovechkin (upper-body) will not play Monday vs. the Islanders.

Ovechkin missed the Capitals' previous game due to an upper-body injury and will not play Monday vs. the New York Islanders. The 37-year-old is day-to-day with the injury and has 42 goals, 32 assists, 290 SOG and a -14 plus/minus through 72 games played this season prior to his injury.

Oshie (upper-body) will miss the rest of the regular season.

Oshie has missed the Capitals' previous three games and will now be forced to miss the remainder of the 2022-23 regular season. It puts the lid on a down year for the 36-year-old, who had 19 goals, 16 assists, 126 SOG, 59 PIMs and a -18 plus/minus through 58 games prior to his injury.

Brandon Duhaime will return to the Wilds' lineup Saturday vs. Vegas (illness).

Duhaime missed the Wilds' previous game vs. Colorado due to illness but will draw back into the lineup Saturday as Minnesota takes on the Vegas Golden Knights. The 25-year-old has eight goals, one assist, 64 SOG, 40 PIMs and a +8 plus/minus through 44 games before missing the last game.

Logan Thompson will be out for at least this week (three games) with a lower-body injury.

Thompson had to leave the Golden Knights' previous game vs. Calgary after 53:53 due to a lower-body injury and will now be forced to miss at least the next three games. The 26-year-old rookie netminder has had a great season, with his 21-13-3 record, 2.65 GAA and .915 SV%.

Jakob Chychrun will be out for 2-3 weeks as he deals with a hamstring injury.

Chychrun has nine goals, 24 assists, 144 SOG, 30 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 48 games this season but will now be forced to miss 2-3 weeks as he deals with a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old had played in 12 games (2G/3A) since joining the Senators' nearly a month ago.

Thompson (undisclosed) has returned to Vegas will not be available for Saturday's game in Edmonton.

Thompson stopped 37 of 39 shots (.949 SV%) Thursday in a win over Calgary but has now returned to Vegas with an undisclosed injury and will not be available for the Golden Knights Saturday vs. Edmonton. The 26-year-old rookie netminder has been dealing with a lot of injuries lately, having started only two games since January 28th.
