Given the fact that the Capitals are already locked into a playoff spot, they may play it safe with their star defenseman. Head coach Todd Reirden said that Carlson's status for Monday is still TBD, so consider him a game-time decision and check on his status during warmups.

Chychrun will miss his seventh consecutive game on Monday but it seems likely that he could be available for Thursday's crucial matchup with the Canucks. With Chychrun out, Oliver Ekman-Larsson is playing 24:31 ATOI and Jordan Oesterle has seen a massive uptick to 19:41 ATOI.

Lindgren is 2-3-0 with a 3.37 GAA and .884 sV% in his first five NHL starts this season and will get another start tonight in Florida. Tonight he faces a Panthers team on a four-game losing streak and 1-4-2 while scoring just 2.14 goals per game in their last seven games.
With all the injuries to the Maple Leafs’ blueline, Sandin has become a regular in the lineup but will be replaced by Timothy Liljegren on Tuesday. Sandin has picked up just one assist and seven shots while playing just 14:00 ATOI in his last 14 games.

The Blue Jackets made Milano the 16th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old forward struggled to maintain a spot in the lineup under head coach John Tortorella. He scored five goals and added 13 assists in 46 games for Columbus this season. Milano is set to become a restricted free-agent on July 1st.
