Gustafsson is expected to draw back into the Jets' lineup on Thursday.

With the Jets resting several regulars in their final game of the season before the start of the playoffs, Gustafsson will draw back into the lineup. Gustafsson has played two of the last three for the Jets, scoring three points (1G / 2A) in those games.

Barron (lower body) will be out on Thursday and is questionable for Game 1 of the playoffs.

Barron played only 2:23 time-on-ice before exiting Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Seattle Kraken due to a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old Barron has 18 points (11G / 7A) and 119 hits in 80 games this season.

Coghlan has been recalled from Springfield (AHL) and is available on Tuesday.

Coghlan has yet to crack the Hurricanes roster this season but could get the chance after being recalled on Tuesday. The 26-year-old Coghlan has 41 points (16G / 25A) in 59 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL).

After several months of Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen owning the Sabres crease, Comrie will get an opportunity on Monday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Comrie has struggled when called upon this season, posting a 3.91 GAA and .864 SV% through nine games (1-7-0). The Sabres enter action as +152 road underdogs.

Hellebuyck will start on Tuesday vs. Seattle.

The Jets can clinch home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs with a victory over the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday and will turn to Hellebuyck between the pipes. Hellebuyck has won four straight, allowing three or fewer goals in each and is coming off a 30-save performance in a 7-0 victory over the Colorado Avalanche for his fifth shutout of the season. The Jets enter action as -220 home favourites.
