Murray will start Wednesday vs. the Oilers.

Murray was outstanding on Monday, stopping 50 of the 51 shots that the Flyers threw at him in a 4-1 win. Dating back to his mid-December return to the crease, Murray has gone 12-4-0 with a 2.18 GAA, .935 SV% and two shutouts. He is a must-start against an Oilers team that has lost seven of their last eight.

The Canucks are “hopeful” that Markstrom will play Wednesday.

Markstrom did not play Monday vs. the Sharks due to a lower-body injury and that led to 19-year-old Mikey DiPietro getting lit up. The injury is obviously minor as the Canucks hope to have their No.1 goalie between the pipes tonight. They went out and acquired Marek Mazanec from the Rangers on Tuesday and he would likely start if Markstrom is unavailable.

Jacob Markstrom
Sutter (lower-body) did not travel to Anaheim and is going to be out “a little while.”

Sutter was scratched from the lineup on Monday and is expected to miss some time with a lower-body issue. Adam Gaudette was recalled on Tuesday to take Sutter’s spot on the roster and likely in the lineup.

Brandon Sutter
Dubnyk will start Tuesday vs. the Flyers.

Dubnyk gave up two goals on 34 shots in the Wild’s loss to the Islanders on Sunday. Dubnyk has lost four of his last five starts (1-3-1) with a 2.59 GAA and .910 SV%. The Wild are in trouble after trading Nino Niederreiter and losing Mikko Koivu to a season-ending injury, making Dubnyk a risky option vs. a hot Flyers squad—he was pulled after allowing five goals on 20 shots in a 7-4 loss in his first start against Philadelphia.

Rinne led the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Predators loss in St. Louis on Saturday. Rinne has gone 2-4-1 with a 3.59 GAA and .889 SV% in his last seven starts but draws a solid matchup tonight with the Red Wings in town. In their first meeting (in Detroit) Rinne surrendered four goals on 39 shots in a 4-3 OT loss.

Pekka Rinne
Rask led the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Rask allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Bruins win over the Kings on Saturday. Rask has won three straight while allowing just five goals on 82 shots (.939 SV%) and now sits fourth in the NHL in GAA (2.36), seventh in SV% (.922) and tied for 15th in wins (17). Tonight he faces a Chicago team that has won seven in a row with a power-play clicking at 39.1 percent over that stretch.

Tuukka Rask
Lehner led the Islanders onto the ice for warmups.

Lehner allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Islanders win over the Avalanche on Saturday. Lehner has won five of his last seven stats (5-1-1) with a 1.55 GAA, .944 SV% and one shutout. He will look to stay hot against his former team tonight—he stopped 39 of 40 shots in a 3-1 win in his first start back in Buffalo on New Year’s Eve.

Robin Lehner
Lundqvist will start Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Lundqvist allowed one goal on 31 shots in the Rangers loss to the Hurricanes last Friday. Lundqvist has lost three straight while allowing a combined eight goals on 84 shots (.905 SV%). King Henrik allowed three goals on 42 shots in a 4-3 shootout loss in his first start against the Jets (Dec.2) this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
McElhinney will start Tuesday in Ottawa.

McElhinney allowed five goals on 39 shots in the Hurricanes win in Buffalo last Thursday. Since returning from injury, McElhinney has won two straight while stopping 57 of 62 shots (.919 SV%). He draws a strong matchup tonight in Ottawa and comes into play at 6-4-0 with a 2.88 GAA, .902 SV% and one shutout on the road this season.

Curtis McElhinney
Dubnyk will likely start Tuesday vs.
