Mitchell has been reassigned to Bridgeport (AHL).

Mitchell did not get a chance to make his NHL debut during his brief stint with the Islanders and will head back to Bridgeport (AHL) on Wednesday. The 24-year-old defenseman had been having a strong start to his 2024-25 with Bridgeport, racking up a goal, three points and 21 PIMs in his first 8 games.

Grebyonkin has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

With Max Domi (lower body) placed on Injured Reserve, the Maple Leafs have recalled Grebyonkin from the Marlies (AHL). The 21-year-old Grebyonkin was a fifth-round pick of the Maple Leafs in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He is playing in his first professional season in North America and has 10 points (4G / 6A) in 13 games in the AHL with the Marlies.

Bains has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

With J.T. Miller (personal) away from the team, and Conor Garland (personal) a game-time decision on Tuesday, Bains could be an option to draw into the lineup. The 23-year-old Bains is averaging 11:30 time-on-ice and has one point (1G / 0A) in eight games with Vancouver this season.

Minten has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Minten was the second-round pick, 38th overall, of the Maple Leafs in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old made his NHL debut last season, going scoreless in four games with the Maple Leafs. He has four points (2G / 2A) in five games with the Marlies (AHL) this season.

DeSimone has been recalled from Utica (AHL).

DeSimone played 11 games with the Devils last season, scoring two points (1G / 1A), but has primarily been an AHL players, playing only 38 career NHL games since his professional debut in the 2016-17 season. In nine games with the Utica Comets (AHL) this season, the 29-year-old DeSimone has two points (0G / 2A) and a -10 plus/minus.
