Grosenick was recalled to take Miroslav Svoboda’s spot as Juuse Saros’ backup while Pekka Rinne is on injured reserve. Grosenick has appeared in just two career NHL games, going 1-1-0 while allowing just three goals on 58 shots (.948 SV%).

Howard allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Red Wings overtime win in Florida on Saturday. After six starts, Howard finally recorded his first win of the season. Tonight it looks like he could go head-to-head with his former teammate, Petr Mrazek. The Hurricanes come into Monday’s game averaging the most shots per game (42.1) but the 16th most goals for (3.25).

Miller allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Ducks win in St. Louis last Sunday. With John Gibson going last night, Miller is expected to start vs. his former team this evening. The veteran netminder is 3-1-0 with a 2.49 GAA and .910 SV% in his first four starts vs. the Sabres.

Lundqvist allowed four goals on 38 shots in the Rangers loss in Washington on Wednesday. Lundqvist has played very well this season, posting a 2.31 GAA and .930 SV% in his first six starts. With three days off between starts, the veteran should be well rested with the league’s No.5 offence in town.

Hutton allowed four goals on 38 shots in the Sabres loss in San Jose on Thursday. Hutton has lost three straight starts, allowing a combined 13 goals on 96 shots (.865 SV%). Hutton has had some struggles, but the Ducks have had their issues scoring goals—averaging 2.63 goals for per game (24th in the NHL) through eight games.

Domingue stopped 38 of 40 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Domingue was great in his season debut and is now 8-3-1 with a 2.81 GAA and .917 SV% in 13 career appearances in a Lightning uniform. Tonight he faces a Blackhawks squad that has scored 27 goals in seven games (3.86 GF/PG).





Rattie is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with a muscles issue in his “mid-body” so the Oilers have placed him on IR to open up a roster spot to call up Cooper Marody.

Marody, 21, has recored two goals and four assists in his first five games with Bakersfield so far this season. Since turning pro following a 51-point (16G / 35A) season at the University of Michigan, Marody has registered three goals and six assists (nine points) in eight career AHL games.

With Corey Crawford starting last night, Ward will get back between the pipes tonight—Tampa Bay comes in averaging 3.50 goals for per game so far.

Rittich allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Flames win in Colorado last Saturday. Rittich played very well in his first start of the season and will look to build off of that tonight in New York. The Rangers have started the season at 2-4-1 while averaging just 2.43 goals for per game (25th in the NHL).
