Gravel was called up after picking up one assist in four games with Bakersfield (AHL) and tonight he will replace Jason Garrison on the blueline. The former King has just 10 points (1G / 9A) in 70 career NHL games.

Marody was recalled on Monday after scoring two goals with four assists (six points) in his first five games with Bakersfield (AHL). The 21-year-old brings some additional offence to the Oilers’ bottom-6 that is devoid of talented wingers.

Price allowed four goals on 34 shots in the Canadiens loss in Ottawa. So far Price has won two of his first five starts while posting a 2.57 GAA and .904 SV%. Tonight he will make his third start on home-ice, where he’s stopped 49 of 54 shots (.907 SV%) this year. The Canadiens welcome in a Flames team that is fifth in the NHL in goals per game (3.75).

Bishop allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Stars loss to the Wild last Friday. After starting the season 2-0-0, Bishop has since lost three straight while allowing a combined 11 goals on 87 shots (.874 SV%). Tonight he faces a Kings team that has lost four games in a row while being outscored 21-to-5.

Jones stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Sharks win over the Islanders on Saturday. Jones has won two in a row, stopping 48 of the last 50 shots (.960 SV%) that he faced. Jones has posted a 2.36 GAA and .907 SV% in his first six starts, but has a bad matchup in Nashville tonight.

Quick allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Kings loss to the Sabres on Saturday. Quick has been roughed up in his first two starts since returning from injury, allowing a combined 10 goals on 54 shots (.815 SV%). Things won’t get any easier tonight vs. the Stars, who are great on home-ice and rank fifth in the NHL in shots-per game (34.4).

Talbot allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Oilers loss to the Predators on Saturday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Talbot, who will make his seventh start of the season tonight vs. the Penguins. The Penguins are tied for 11th in the NHL in scoring (3.33 GF/PG) in their first six games of the season.
