Allen allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Blues win over the Wild on Saturday. The win extended Allen’s winning streak to four—he has a 2.48 GAA and .907 SV% during that stretch. Tonight he faces an undermanned Ducks team on home ice, where he has gone 8-2-0 with a 2.57 GAA and .914 SV% this season.

Spooner (undisclosed) will return to the Bruins lineup on Wednesday.

Spooner missed Sunday’s game vs. Edmonton after suffering an injury in Friday’s game vs. Pittsburgh. Spooner has battled injuries throughout the 2017-18 season and comes into play tonight with just two assists in seven games.

Backes (illness) will play for the first time since October 30th.

Backes has missed nearly one month with diverticulitis but will draw back in tonight vs. the Lightning. Backes has appeared in just five games this season, registering one assist, but his return drastically help the Bruins forward group that continues to battle injuries. Backes will centre the second line with Danton Heinen and Riley Nash on his wings.

Marchand missed the last six games with an undisclosed injury but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Lightning. Marchand will be reunited with Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak on the top line and comes into play with 15 points (8G / 7A) in 14 games this season.

Rask allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Bruins loss to Edmonton on Sunday. Despite Anton Khudobin riding a four-game winning streak prior to that start, the Bruins will come back to Rask again tonight vs. the Lightning. Tampa Bay has cooled off a bit recently, going 2-3-0 while averaging just 2.20 goals for per game in their last five contests.

Vasilevskiy leads the Lightning onto the ice for warmups.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Washington on Friday. Vasilevskiy was excellent once again and is now 5-2-1 with a 2.10 GAA and .934 SV% in eight November starts. After getting Saturday night off, Vasilevksiy is fully expected to start tonight in Buffalo—he is 6-2-0 with a 2.15 GAA and .938 SV% on the road.

Forsberg will start Tuesday in Nashville.

Forsberg allowed one goal on 13 shots after replacing Corey Crawford in the Blackhawks 7-5 loss to the Devils on November 12th. The Blackhawks have five games this week, so Forsberg could see multiple starts but he has had a tough start to the season—the 25-year-old has gone 1-1-2 with a 3.81 GAA and .904 SV% in four starts and two relief appearances.

Neuvirth will start Tuesday vs. the Sharks.

Neuvirth allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Flyers loss to the Canucks last Tuesday. Brian Elliott faced a career-high 47 shots last night so Neuvirth is expected to start his eighth game of the season tonight. The 29-year-old has gone 1-2-1 with a 2.75 GAA and .912 SV% at the Wells Fargo Center this season.

Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Talbot allowed two goals on 25 shots i the Oilers win in Boston on Sunday. Talbot has won two straight while allowing a combined four goals on 47 shots (.915 SV%). Talbot enters play tonight at 4-6-0 with a 3.43 GAA and .896 SV% on home ice. Hopefully his recent play is a sign of the Oilers and Talbot turning a corner.

Darling will start Tuesday in Columbus.

Darling allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Hurricanes shootout win over the Predators on Sunday. Darling has been inconsistent this season and comes into tonight having gone 4-3-2 with a 2.72 GAA and .905 SV% in nine November appearances. He stopped 25 of 27 shots in a 2-1 OT loss in his first start vs. the Blue Jackets.

Nilsson will start Tuesday against the Islanders.

Nilsson allowed two goals on 45 shots in the Canucks’ win in Pittsburgh last Wednesday. Jacob Markstrom started the last two games, but Nilsson will go tonight in Brooklyn. Nilsson has not played a lot but has played very well when called upon, going 5-1-1 with a 2.25 GAA, .934 SV% ad two shutouts in seven starts.
