Cooley will start on Thursday in Seattle.

The Sharks have lost four of their last five and will turn to Cooley, who is responsible for their only victory in that stretch. Cooley was terrific in a 3-2 victory on April 6th against the St. Louis Blues, saving 34 of 36 shots (.944 SV%). The Sharks enter action as +214 road underdogs against a Seattle Kraken club that defeated them 4-2 earlier this month.

Devin Cooley
Lindgren will start on Thursday in Buffalo.

The Capitals snapped a six-game losing streak with a monumental 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday to keep them in the playoff race. Lindgren was tremendous on Tuesday, saving 42 of 43 shots (.977 SV%), losing his shutout bid on a Patrick Kane goal with one second remaining in regulation. The Capitals enter action on Thursday as +117 road underdogs against the Buffalo Sabres.

Charlie Lindgren
Krug (upper body) is questionable to return on Friday vs. Carolina.

Krug played only 12:40 time-on-ice in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks before exiting the game with an upper-body injury. He scored a goal before exiting the contest and has three points (1G / 2A) during a three-game point streak.

Torey Krug
Brossoit is expected to start on Thursday in Dallas.

The Jets are riding a four-gaming winning streak and will give Connor Hellebuyck a rest on Thursday against the Dallas Stars. Brossoit has played only one of the last eight games for the Jets but was serviceable in it, saving 25 of 28 shots (.893 SV%) in a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings. The Jets enter action as +136 road underdogs.

Laurent Brossoit
Forsberg will start on Thursday in Tampa Bay.

The Senators were shut out 2-0 with Jonas Korpisalo between the pipes on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers and will switch to Forsberg in the crease on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Forsberg has struggled lately, allowing five goals on 23 shots (.783 SV%) across his last two outings (0-2-0). The Senators enter action as +144 road underdogs.

Anton Forsberg
Montembeault will start on Thursday in New York.

The Canadiens snapped a three-game losing skid on Tuesday and will return to Montembeault between the pipes on Thursday against the New York Islanders. Montembeault has won two of his last three games, including saving 33 of 36 shots (.917 SV%) in a 9-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers in his most recent outing. The Canadiens enter action as +197 road underdogs.

Sam Montembeault
Silfverberg will retire from the NHL after 12 NHL seasons.

Silfverberg has decided to retire at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season. The 33-year-old Silfverberg was the 39th overall pick of the Ottawa Senators in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and spent the past 11 seasons as a member of the Ducks. He has 19 points (7G / 12A) through 78 games this season.

Jakob Silfverberg
Tomkins will start on Thursday vs. Ottawa.

Tampa Bay has won three of their last four and will turn to Tomkins in the crease for the second time in the last four contests. Tomkins was unspectacular last week, allowing four goals on 30 shots (.867 SV%), but salvaged a 7-4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Tampa Bay enters action on Thursday as a -183 home favourite against the Ottawa Senators.

Matt Tomkins
Clarke is expected to draw back into the Devils' lineup on Thursday in Toronto.

Tomas Nosek will not play on Thursday due to an undisclosed injury, allowing Clarke to re-enter the lineup. The 22-year-old Clarke recently made his NHL debut but has spent most of the season in the AHL, scoring 47 points (23G / 24A) in 64 games with the Utica Comets.

Graeme Clarke

The Capitals snapped a six-game losing streak with a monumental 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday to keep them in the playoff race. The Capitals enter action on Thursday as +117 road underdogs against the Buffalo Sabres.

Charlie Lindgren
Fix-Wolansky will draw back into the Blue Jackets' lineup on Thursday in Florida.

Fix-Wolansky has been among the league leaders in the AHL for the past two seasons but has been unable to translate that success to the NHL level, scoring only four points (2G / 2A) in 25 career games with the Blue Jackets. The 24-year-old has 58 points (24G / 34A) in 55 games with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) this season.
