Grubauer (undisclosed) missed practice on Thursday and is considered day-to-day.

Grubauer has started six of 14 games for Seattle this season and if he is out of the lineup for any considerable amount of time, expect Joey Daccord to take exclusive reins of the crease. The 32-year-old Grubauer has a 3.27 GAA and .877 SV% in six games this season (1-5-0).

Philipp Grubauer
Mantha (lower-body) has been placed on IR.

Mantha suffered the injury late in the first period of Tuesday's game against the Montreal Canadiens and was unable to return. Mantha has been placed on Injured Reserve retroactive to November 5th and will not be eligible to return until at least November 12th. The 30-year-old Mantha has seven points (4G / 3A) in 13 games this season.

Anthony Mantha
Janmark (undisclosed) missed practice on Thursday and is considered day-to-day.

Janmark is battling an undisclosed injury that prevented him from participating at practice on Thursday. The 31-year-old Janmark has three points (1G / 2A) in 14 games this season. The Oilers return to action on Saturday against the Vancouver Canucks.

Mattias Janmark
Walman (upper-body) is out on Thursday vs. Minnesota and considered day-to-day.

Walman was a surprise healthy scratch on Tuesday per a coaches decision but will miss a second consecutive game on Thursday due to an upper-body injury. The 28-year-old Walman has been productive from the blueline in his first season with the Sharks, scoring nine points (1G / 8A) in 13 games, highlighted by seven points (1G / 6A) in his last four contests.

Jake Walman
Makar (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Thursday in Winnipeg.

Makar went down awkwardly in the 2nd period of Tuesday's win over Seattle and attempted to return for the 3rd period before leaving for the rest of the game with 15:07 TOI. The 26-year-old is an early leader for Norris Trophy votes with 23 points (5G/18A) in his first 13 games played.

Cale Makar
Mantha (lower-body) is out on Thursday in Boston and still being evaluated.

Mantha suffered the injury late in the first period of Monday's game against the Montreal Canadiens and was unable to return. Kevin Rooney will draw into the lineup as Mantha's replacement. The 30-year-old Mantha has seven points (4G / 3A) in 13 games this season.

Anthony Mantha
Kolosov (undisclosed) was originally slated to start but left Thursday's morning skate and did not return.

Ivan Fedotov will likely draw in as the netminder for the Flyers on Thursday, with the possibility of an EBUG serving as his backup. That said, fantasy owners will likely need to wait until warmups for a Flyers' goalie confirmation given the unusual circumstances. The 22-year-old Kolosov has a 3.92 GAA and .863 SV% through three games (0-3-0) and his potential absence from the team makes the crease murky for a Flyers squad that is already without Samuel Ersson (lower body).

Aleksei Kolosov
Matthews (undisclosed) remains day-to-day and is uncertain of his status for the weekend's games.

Despite playing 22:12 time-on-ice in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild, Matthews is battling through an upper-body injury that will prevent him from in a second consecutive game. Matthews has completed each of the previous seven seasons as a point-per-game player but is off to a slow start this season by his elite standards, with 11 points (5G / 6A) in 13 games. That said, the 27-year-old Matthews has six points (2G / 4A) in his last five games.

Auston Matthews
Seguin (undisclosed) will return on Thursday vs. Chicago.

Seguin did not play in the second game of the NHL Global Series in Finland due to an undisclosed injury but will return to the lineup on Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 32-year-old Seguin is off to a tremendous start to the 2024-25 campaign, with nine points (5G / 4A) in seven games. That said, Seguin is currently scoring at an unsustainable 45.5 percent rate.

Tyler Seguin
Holloway (upper-body) is a game-time decision on Thursday vs. Utah.

A scary incident in Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning resulted in Holloway being wheeled off in a stretcher after taking a puck to the throat area. All tests proved negative and thankfully, for Holloway and the Blues, he could return to the lineup on Thursday against the Utah Hockey Club.

Dylan Holloway
Point (lower-body) is out on Thursday vs. Philadelphia.

Point played just 3:47 before leaving Sunday's loss in Winnipeg with a lower-body injury, and will miss a second straight game on Thursday against the Philadelphia Flyers. Before his injury, Point was enjoying another productive campaign, scoring 13 points (8G / 5A) through 12 games. Mitchell Chaffee has been the main beneficiary, jumping into Point's usual spot on the top powerplay unit.

Brayden Point
Marchment (undisclosed) is out on Thursday vs. Chicago and considered day-to-day.

After participating in two games in Finland as part of the NHL Global Series, Marchment has returned home with an undisclosed injury. The 29-year-old Marchment has had a strong start to the 2024-25 season, playing predominantly alongside Matt Duchene and Tyler Seguin, scoring eight points (2G / 6A) in 11 games.

Mason Marchment
Peeke is week-to-week with an upper-body injury.

Peeke was injured on Tuesday after taking a hard hit from Max Pacioretty. Pacioretty was originally assessed a five-minute major on the play but the penalty was rescinded after review. The 26-year-old Peeke has two points (0G / 2A) in 13 games this season.

Andrew Peeke
Zub (concussion) is expected to return on Thursday vs. New York.

Zub has not played since suffering a concussion in the third game of the season but is expected to make his return from a nine-game absence on Thursday against the New York Islanders. The 29-year-old hard-hitting defenseman has battled injuries the last two seasons, limited to 53 and 69 games respectively. Jacob Bernard-Docker will be the odd man out of the lineup to welcome Zub's return.

Artem Zub
Novak (undisclosed) is listed as a scratch for Wednesday's game against the Capitals.

Novak participated fully in warmups and his absence was not announced until just minutes before puck drop. We should expect to receive an update following the completion of Wednesday's game, but it seems likely Novak suffered some sort of injury in warmups.

Tommy Novak
Joshua (testicular cancer) is unlikely to play against the Kings on Thursday.

Joshua is essentially day-to-day at this point, and he should be back in the Canucks lineup sooner than later. In mid-September, the Canucks announced that 28-year-old Dakota Joshua had been diagnosed with testicular cancer and successfully had a tumor removed but would not be ready for the start of training camp. The fifth-year winger is coming off his best season in 2023-24, with 18 goals, 32 points, 60 PIMs, 84 SOG, and a +19 plus/minus through 63 games played.

Dakota Joshua
Forbort (lower-body) is expected to be out week-to-week.

Forbort played 15:18 time-on-ice in the Canucks' previous game, returning from a six-game absence due to personal reasons, but has suffered a lower-body injury that will keep him out of the lineup for the foreseeable future. The 32-year-old Forbort has one point (0G / 1A) while averaging 16:30 time-on-ice through four games this season.
