Johnson (upper-body) is expected to return on Thursday vs. Tampa Bay.

Johnson has not played since October 17th due to an upper-body injury but is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 22-year-old Johnson showed signs of a true breakout campaign before his injury, with two goals and three assists in his first four games. The Blue Jackets loaned Mikael Pyyhtia to the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) to accommodate Johnson's return.

Domi (lower-body) has been placed on IR retroactive to November 16th.

Domi will not play on Wednesday due to a lower-body injury but will be eligible to be activated from Injured Reserve before the Maple Leafs' following game on Novemeber 24th against the Utah Hockey Club. The 29-year-old Domi has struggled with the Maple Leaf this season, going without a point in 13 straight games. The Maple Leafs have recalled Nikita Grebyonkin from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Ovechkin exited Monday's game late in the third period after a knee-on-knee collision with Utah HC's Jack McBain. Ovechkin is listed as week-to-week and the Capitals have recalled Ivan Miroshnichenko from the Hershey Bears (AHL). Before the injury on Monday, Ovechkin had a two-goal game, adding to his impressive start to the 2024-25 campaign with a league-leading 15 goals. The 39-year-old Ovechkin was well on his way to surpassing Wayne Gretzky's all-time goal record (894), only 27 away, a feat that could be jeopardized if he misses extended time.

Ingram was pulled in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Washington Capitals after allowing four goals on 13 shots (.692 SV%). Garland was not at the morning skate on Tuesday, with his wife expecting a baby, and will be a game-time decision against the New York Rangers. The Canucks are already without J.T. Miller (personal), and their offense will have trouble adapting if Garland's 13 points (4G / 9A) in 17 games are also absent.
