Doughty (ankle) is expected to be a limited participant in practice as early as this week.

Doughty underwent ankle surgery after being injured in the preseason and has yet to play this season. He has been a staple on the Kings' blueline for over a decade. His impact has been missed despite the Kings allowing only 105 goals this season, the fewest in the NHL thus far. Over the last two seasons, Doughty averaged nearly 26:00 TOI/GP. In 82 games in 2023-24, he had 15 goals, 50 points, 44 PIMs, and a +15 plus/minus.

Nichushkin (lower-body) is doubtful to play vs. Minnesota on Monday.

Nichushkin was not able to complete a full practice on Monday and will likely remain sidelined on Monday against the Minnesota Wild. Originally given a day-to-day timeline, Nichushkin, and the Avalanche have been patient with his recovery and have not rushed his return to the lineup. The 29-year-old winger has 11 goals and six assists in 21 games this season.

Frederic is out on Monday vs. San Jose due to illness.

Frederic will not play on Monday against the San Jose Sharks due to an illness. The 26-year-old forward is averaging 14:10 time-on-ice and has 14 points (7G / 7A) in 47 games this season. Oliver Wahlstrom will draw into the lineup as Frederic's replacement.

Jankowski (upper-body) did not practice on Monday after leaving Nashville's previous game due to injury.

Jankowski was limited to only 1:16 time-on-ice before exiting Saturday's 6-2 win over the Minnesota Wild due to an upper-body injury. The 30-year-old Jankowski is averaging 12:44 time-on-ice and has eight points (3G / 5A) in 37 games this season.

Pacioretty (upper-body) is out on Monday vs. Tampa Bay and is considered day-to-day.

Pacioretty has missed some time this season due to various injuries and will be sidelined again on Monday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 36-year-old Pacioretty has 12 points (5G / 7A) and 89 hits in 32 games this season. Fraser Minten will return to the lineup as Pacioretty's replacement.

Romanov returned from a three-game absence in Saturday's 4-1 win over the San Jose Sharks, but could return to the sidelines on Monday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 25-year-old defenseman is averaging 21:49 time-on-ice, recording nine points (0G / 9A), 70 blocks, and 75 hits in 31 games this season.

Danforth (lower-body) has been activated off IR and is expected to play on Monday vs. New York.

Danforth has not played since December 10th due to a lower-body injury but will make his return on Monday. The 31-year-old Danforth is averaging a career-high 15:20 time-on-ice and has eight points (3G / 5A) in 25 games this season. Kevin Labanc will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Danforth's return.

Liljegren (illness) will return to San Jose's lineup in Boston on Monday.

Liljegren did not play on Saturday due to an illness but will return to the lineup on Monday against the Boston Bruins. The 25-year-olse Liljegren is averaging 18:15 time-on-ice and has four points (4G / 4A) in 35 games this season. Marc-Edouard Vlasic will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Liljegren's return.

Sergachev (upper-body) will be a game-time decision vs. Winnipeg on Monday.

Head coach Andre Tourigny mentioned on Sunday that he did not think Sergachev would be ready for Monday vs. Winnipeg but left with saying he was a game-time decision. The 26-year-old defenseman missed Saturday's win vs. St. Louis as he dealt with an upper-body injury.
