Smithson is a gritty right-handed shot who is a great faceoff guy. He will replace the oft-injured Eric Belanger in the Oilers lineup.

Hannan was originally drafted 23rd overall by the Sharks in 1997. He played for San Jose from 1998-2007. He returns to the Sharks after making stops in Colorado, Washington, Calgary and Nashville. He is not a fantasy relevant defenseman, he has just one assist in 29 games this year.

Sauve has 10 goals and 13 assists in 52 games in the AHL this season.

Flick has three goals and two assists in 51 games in the AHL this season.

Paradis, 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, has played in 36 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League this season, recording a goal and eight points with 100 penalty minutes. He ranks fourth on the team for penalty minutes.

Gaunce, 23, has skated the last three seasons for the Lake Erie Monsters, Colorado’s development affiliate in the AHL. As a member of the Monsters, the 6-foot-1, 203-pound defenseman has posted 60 points (9G-51A), 272 penalty minutes and a plus-22 rating in 197 games.

Vincour, 22, has played 86 career NHL games, posting 15 points (7G-8A), including one goal and one assist in 15 contests this season. The 6-foot-2 forward from Brno, Czech Rep., was Dallas’ fifth-round selection (129th overall) in the 2009 NHL Draft.

The Rangers have had some serious scoring issues this season and they are adding Clowe who has no goals and 11 assists in 28 games this season. We will have to see where Clowe is placed in the Rangers lineup before knowing if he is going to become fantasy relevant again.

Drewiske was expendable after the Kings traded for Robyn Regehr yesterday. He has just one goal and three assists in 20 games with L.A this season.

MacDermid is a tough four-year pro. He is not going to be fantasy relevant.
The Bruins failed to get a 500-goal scorer in Jarome Iginla but they have added a 679-goal scorer in Jagr. He brings veteran leadership with the ability to score even at the age of 41. He has 14 goals and 12 assists in 34 games this season. Jagr will definitely help the Bruins 24th ranked power-play.

Connauton is a strong offensive defenseman who has seven goals and 18 assists in 60 games in the AHL this season.

The Canucks were desperately seeking another centre with Ryan Kesler out with a broken foot. Roy has four goals and 18 assists in 30 games with the Stars this season. He should continue to be a solid fantasy player with his new team.

Hall had been with the Lightning from 2008-2013 before being waived earlier this season. He has four assists in 26 games this season.
Bergeron has only appeared in 12 games this season and scored just one goal and four assists. The 32-year-old defenseman posted 24 points in only 43 games last season. He is good on the power-play because he has a heavy shot, which should help the Hurricanes who rank last in the NHL in PP%. He should see plenty of PP time, which should increase his production and subsequently his fantasy value.
