2023-24 NHL Award predictions: Daily Faceoff staff picks
Tough act to follow, 2023-24.
The 2022-23 NHL season will go down as arguably the most memorable this century in terms of the individual performances it yielded. Hart and Art Ross Trophy winner Connor McDavid became the first 150-point scorer in 27 years; Norris Trophy winner Erik Karlsson became the first 100-point defenseman in 31 years; and Vezina Trophy winner Linus Ullmark became the seventh goaltender ever to win the Triple Crown (W, GAA, SV%).
Will we see anything similarly legendary this coming season? Can McDavid, for instance, top his 64-goal, 153-point opus of a season ago? Can Connor Bedard deliver the best rookie season since Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby debuted in 2005-06?
We’ve posed those questions to a panel of senior Daily Faceoff staffers. They voted on:
