The San Jose Sharks are still actively searching for a new bench boss and it was reported last week by Frank Seravalli that Marco Sturm and Ryan Warsofsky are two of the finalists considered for the head coaching job.

Today on Daily Faceoff Live, Tyler Yaremchuk and Colby Cohen talk about why Warsofsky could be the right fit for the Sharks.

Tyler Yaremchuk: A whole lot of coaching changes this week, but the one coaching job that is still vacant Colby is out in San Jose, anyone out there you think stands out as a potential fit?

Colby Cohen: Yeah, Ryan Warsofsky. I think he is going to end up getting this job, I really do. He is in the final two or three candidates for the job. He came up behind Spence Carbery in the minors and Carbery is a very well-respected guy too. I played with Ryan Warsofsky’s brother David in the AHL, I know him very well and I know there high hopes for him when he got the assistant coaching spot with the Sharks that this guy would be an assistant until a head coaching job with another team pops up elsewhere.

Colby Cohen: He is one of these new up-and-coming guys who understands the pulse of today’s player, I think he is the frontrunner for that job but we will see if the Macklin Celebrini or Will Smith factor plays a role and go for a more veteran coach.
