Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced Sunday that the team has signed forwards Braeden Bowman and Kai Uchacz to two-year, entry-level contracts.

Bowman is in his first season with the Golden Knights’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate the Henderson Silver Knights where he has tallied 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 52 games. Bowman participated in Vegas’ development camp in July and then earned himself a one-year AHL contract with Henderson.

Prior to his AHL tenure, Bowman spent four seasons with the Guelph Storm in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) where he posted a total of 97 goals and 83 assists for 180 points in 184 contests. Bowman served as the Storm’s captain during his final season.

Uchacz has tallied 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points in 51 games with the Silver Knights in his first professional season. Prior to his AHL tenure, Uchacz spent five seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) split with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Red Deer Rebels. Uchacz tallied consecutive 80-point seasons in back-to-back years with the Rebels and throughout his WHL career he racked up 109 goals and 100 assists for 209 points in 245 games over parts of five seasons. Uchacz served as Rebels captain during the 2023-24 campaign.

Uchacz and Bowman are the latest of signings by Vegas which also included monster 6-foot-7 forward Trent Swick over the weekend. Swick was originally selected in the sixth round by Vegas in the 2024 NHL Draft. Swick participated in the team’s development camp in July. Swick plays in the OHL for Kitchener where he has tallied tallied 26 goals and 31 assists for 57 points in 55 games this season.
