Dell returns to the Sharks, who he broke into the NHL with in 2017. IN 2022 he split his time between Buffalo (NHL) and Rochester (AHL). With the Sabres, he was 1-8-1 with a 4.03 GAA and .893 SV%.
Batherson suffered a lower-body injury on the play that is going to keep him out long-term. This is not the first time Dell has engaged in contact out of the crease but the first time he's been suspended.
