Edler missed the final five games of the regular season but was a full participant in Sunday's practice, skating next to Sean Durzi on the third pairing. Expect Edler to play in Game 1 vs. the Oilers and for Sean Walker to be the healthy scratch.
Edler has a goal, six assists, 46 SOG, 28 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 49 games this season but will be a healthy scratch Thursday vs. New Jersey. Tobias Bjornfot will take his spot in the Kings' lineup.
Edler was a healthy scratch for the Kings' previous game and will draw back into the lineup Tuesday vs. Minnesota. The 36-year-old defenseman has a goal, six assists, 46 SOG, 28 PIMs and a -3 plus/minus through 48 games played this season.
Edler was a healthy scratch for the Kings' previous game but will draw back into the lineup as he fills in for Tobias Bjornfot. The 36-year-old has a goal, five assists, 42 SOG and 24 PIMs across 42 games played this season.
Edler was a late scratch on Monday after taking a puck to the face in warmups. He will remain out on Tuesday, so look for Sean Walker to remain in the lineup. Edler is day-to-day.
Edler was hurt early in Saturday's game vs. the Wild after going down very awkwardly. Edler could not put any weight on his leg as he was leaving the field, so it's not a surprise that he landed on IR. Christian Wolanin was recalled from the AHL to take Edler's spot on the roster.
Edler missed the last two games after being suspended for a kneeing incident on Zach Hyman last Sunday. Edler will replace Jalen Chatfield in the lineup.
