Steeves was recalled from Providence (AHL) on Saturday morning and he will make his Bruins debut against his former team this evening. Steeves, who spent four years in the Maple Leafs organization, has one goal and two assists (three points) in career NHL games.

The Bruins placed Eias Lindholm on IR on Saturday, creating a roster spot for Steves, who has scored three goals with five assists (eight points) in nine AHL games this season. Steeves could be in line to make his Bruins debut on Saturday.

Steeves is an undrafted 25-year-old forward who played a career-high seven games with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season but has spent most of his career in the AHL. He had an outstanding 2024-25 season with the Toronto Marlies (AHL), scoring 62 points (36G / 26A) in 59 games.
