The Stars sent forward Ondrej Roman to Florida in exchange for center Angelo Esposito, a first round pick (20th overall) of Pittsburgh in 2007.
Esposito has split time between the AHL and ECHL this season and holds no fantasy hockey value.

Esposito makes less than a million dollars which may not qualify him to make the team. Last season, the former 20th overall pick scored three goals and 13 points in 57 games with the Chicago Wolves. In all reality he remains a longshot to make the team.
“He’s an intriguing player,” Dineen said of Esposito, a Mount Royal, Quebec, native. “He comes from an organization that historically is always full of a lot of veteran players. They play to win every night, so a lot of times prospects in that organization have a little trouble finding some ice (time). His stats may reflect that. Like a lot of players, we want to see them in a game and give them the opportunity. I thought he was very solid for us tonight.”
With all of the Florida Panthers' offseason acquisitions, Esposito remains a longshot to make the team.
