Brad Richardson News
Richardson was one of six Flames players that were added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday morning. Calgary's next three games have been postponed as a result of this outbreak.
Richardson was hurt last Saturday in Tampa Bay and was moved to IR on Wednesday. The move opens up a roster spot for Calle Jarnkrok, who is expected to be activated from IR and return to the lineup on Thursday.
Richardson has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury but could return tonight vs. the Blackhawks. Monitor Richardson's status when the Coyotes hit the ice for warmups at 7:30 pm ET.
Richardson has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury but will play Saturday vs. the Wild. Reserved to a shutdown role, Richardson doesn't have a lot of offensive upside and comes into the game with just one assist in nine games.
Richardson will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury which means that Barrett Hayton will remain in the lineup on Monday. Richardson skated this morning which suggests he could be back for Wednesday's game vs. the Canadiens.
On Thursday, Richardson came out of the lineup for the first time this season and is questionable for Monday’s game due to an upper-body injury. Barrett Hayton filled in admirably on Friday, so look for him to remain in the lineup if Richardson can’t go.
Richardson has missed the last 13 games with an upper-body injury but is expected to play Thursday vs. the Blues. Richardson has 11 goals and five assists in 40 games this season.
Richardson has missed the last three games with the flu but will replace Nick Schmaltz in the lineup on Wednesday. Richardson is projected to start on a line with Alex Galchenyuk and Vinnie Hinostroza and returns to the lineup with 10 goals and four assists (14 points) in 36 games this season.
Richardson is entering his fourth season with the Coyotes and he has become one of their key penalty killers and fourth liners. Richardson is coming off of a down offensive year, but has the ability to chip-in 25-plus points.
Richardson left last Thursday’s game vs. the Blue Jackets and it sounds like he’s going to miss some time. The Coyotes don’t play until Thursday so expect an update on Richardson’s status prior to their next contest. Regardless, Richardson doesn’t have a lot of fantasy appeal, picking up just nine points (3G / 6A) in 44 games this season.
