Holtby allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Capitals win in Philadelphia last Thursday. Philipp Grubauer started on Friday, so the Capitals turn back to Holtby tonight in Detroit. He faced the Red Wings last week, allowing a single (soft) goal on 27 shots in the 1-0 loss. Holtby has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.41 GAA and .894 SV% on the road.
