The Caps sent goaltender Braden Holtby, defensemen Patrick Wellar and Danny Richmond and forwards Christian Hanson, Ryan Potulny and Matthew Ford to the Bears just in time for the start of that camp Monday.

Holtby would hold fantasy value if he got the call back to Washington as he went 10-2-2 with a 1.79 GAA and .934 save percentage in 14 starts last season. Keep an eye out for him, and if called up, make sure you can grab him quickly.
Holtby will likely have a similar role in 2011-12 to the one he had last season, when he started regularly for the Hershey Bears and filled in when needed for the Capitals. But the 21-year-old netminder knows there is more he can do to improve.
Barring an injury, Holtby will start the season with the Hershey Bears of the AHL. In limited duty -- 14 games, 12 starts -- Holtby posted an impressive 10-2 record with a 1.79 GAA and .934 SV%.
