Twarysnki has split his campaign between the NHL and AHL, failing to record a point in six NHL games or two AHL games. Twarysnki will replace Kevin Hayes, who has no goals and three assists in his last 15 games.

Twarynski was promoted to the active roster to replace Tanner Laczynski in the lineup on Saturday. Twarynski has no points in four NHL games or two AHL games in 2021.

Twarynski played Sunday in Winnipeg but swaps spots with Andy Andreoff and goes back to Lehigh Valley. The 22-year-old has two goals and one assist in 12 AHL games this season.

Twarynski has spent most of the season with the Flyers, where he has just one goal in 14 games. He heads back to the AHL to make room for Morgan Frost to join the Flyers for the first time in his career.

Twarynski started the season with Philadelphia and scored one goal in his first six career NHL games. Upon returning to Lehigh Valley, the 21-year-old was held pointless in four games. Now, he comes back to the NHL where he is expected to play on the fourth line in New Jersey.
