The Senators lost Bobby Ryan long-term and Mark Stone, Mike Hoffman and Tommy Wingels all left last night’s game with injuries. Bailey has 14 goals and nine assists (23 points) in 44 games with Binghamton this season and just one goal in 11 career NHL games.

Bailey, 24, was a part of the Dion Phaneuf trade and collected 21 points (7G / 14A) in 30 games with Binghamton (AHL) after the deal. He finished the season with 11 goals and 28 assists (39 points) in 68 AHL games in his first full season as a professional.

The Senators have acquired Casey Bailey, Dion Phaneuf, Matt Frattin, Ryan Rupert and prospect Cody Donaghey from the Maple Leafs for Jared Cowen, Colin Greening, Milan Michalek, Tobias Lindberg and a 2017 2nd round pick.
Bailey, 24, was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Maple Leafs during the 2014-15 season. He has recorded 18 points (4G / 14A) in 38 games with the Marlies this season and has one goal in six career NHL games.

The 6-foot-3, 195 lbs. forward had 22 goals and 18 assists (40 points) in 37 games with Penn State University this season. It was his third season with Penn State, he collected a total of 80 points (45G / 35A) in 96 games in three years at the University.
