Desjardins made just one start for the Lightning last season, but he was 9-18-4 with a 2.81 GAA and .900 SV% with Syracuse (AHL). He will likely find himself with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) to start next season.

Desjardins only allowed one goal on 20 shots and almost led the Lighting to a comeback after Mathieu Garon was pulled. He has a solid matchup vs. a Jets team who got beat up twice in the last three days by Washington.
Tampa's started Anders Lindback was hurt on Wednesday vs. the Maple Leafs. Mathieu Garon will become the Lightning's #1 while Lindback is out, but Desjardins could see some playing time.
Desjardins allowed four goals on 29 shots in his only start while Mathieu Garon was hurt. He will return to the AHL for further conditioning.
This will be Desjardins' third career NHL start and first since the 2010-11 season. He started two games that season winning both with a 1.00 GAA and .968 SV%. He will try and keep his undefeated NHL record in tact vs. Montreal who are first in the Eastern Conference.
This is an AHL trade. Desjardins is 7-13-2 with a 2.94 GAA and .905 SV% this season in the AHL.
Desjardins heads back to the minors as the third goalie on the team's depth chart.
Desjardins has been brought up to backup Semyon Varlamov with JS Giguere injured. He is not expected to play in any games.
Desjardins showed some merit as a fill-in netminder with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Interesting to see if anyone takes a waiver on him.
