Blackwell left the Blackhawks' game on Tuesday in the third period after just 12:37 TOI due to an upper-body injury and was unable to participate in practice on Wednesday. The 30-year-old is having his most successful season since 2021-22 with Seattle, as he has eight goals, four assists, 83 SOG, and eight PIMs in 39 games played before the injury.

Blackwell will make his season debut after missing the first two and a half months of the season recovering from a groin injury. Blackwell missed the first 14 games of the season with a lower-body injury but will make his Kraken debut on Saturday. Blackwell will start on the fourth line with Morgan Geekie and Brandon Tanev.

Blackwell has been out since January 30th with an undisclosed injury but will replace Artemi Panarin in the lineup vs. Boston. Blackwell has one goal and two assists in four games this season.

Blackwell played just 2:53 in the Rangers game vs. the Penguins on Saturday and will miss 7-10 days with an upper-body injury. With Blackwell coming out of the lineup on Monday, look for Julien Gauthier to draw back in.

After spending the last three seasons in the Predators' organization, Blackwell hit the open market on Friday and signed on with the Rangers. In New York he could have a tough time cracking the opening night roster but he's a hard-working winger that could serve a role in the bottom-6 if injuries pop up. He had 10 points (3G / 7A) in 27 games with the Predators in 2020.

Blackwell was with the Predators prior to the break, picking up one assist in six games before being sent down for the break. Blackwell is third on the team in points (23) in 26 games with the Admirals this season.

Blackwell has one goal and two assists in eight games with Milwaukee this season. With Filip Forsberg likely out and Matt Duchene questionable, Blackwell could make his season debut on Tuesday. The former seventh-round pick has no points in six career NHL games.
