Levi will start on Friday vs. the Islanders.

After evenly alternating goalies for the first two weeks of the season, the Sabres settled into starting Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for the last five games. That said, they will return to Levi between the pipes on Friday in the front end of a back-to-back. The 23-year-old Levi started the season strong in his first two outings before a disastrous performance, allowing six goals on 25 shots (.760 SV%) in a 6-4 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, keeping him from occupying the net in two weeks. The Sabres enter the action on Friday as -111 home favorites against a New York Islanders club that has scored only 22 goals this season, tied for fewest in the league.

Levi will start on Thursday in Columbus.

Levi has outperformed Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen early in the 2024-25 season, being responsible for their only win, but the team has opted to alternate starting goalies thus far. As such, Levi will likely start in between the pipes in the Sabres' sixth game of the season on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 22-year-old Levi has a 2.57 GAA and .919 SV% in two games this season (1-1-0). The Sabres enter action on Thursday as -141 road favorites against the Blue Jackets.

Levi will start in Vancouver on Tuesday.

The Sabres will turn to Levi for the tail-end of their back-to-back after Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen got the call for Monday's game in Seattle. It will be Levi's first NHL game since January 24th, a game in which he allowed just three goals on 40 shots in a 5-3 victory over the Kings. The Sabres opted to send Levi down to Rochester (AHL) shortly thereafter in order to assure him more playing time as Luukkonen ran away with the starting job. Levi will be hoping to stake a claim for more playing time after amassing an 11-5-3 record to go along with a .927 SV% across 19 AHL appearances.

Levi will start in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Levi will get his first chance back between the pipes for the Sabres since being recalled from Rochester (AHL) on Sunday. Levi's last outing came on January 9th, when he surrendered five goals on just 26 shots as Buffalo fell to the Kraken by a score of 5-2. Time will tell if the three appearances Levi made in the AHL helped him sort out his game, but the Sabres will be hoping their young netminder can improve on the .889 SV% he's posted across 19 NHL appearances this season. He draws a difficult assignment in his return with the Sabres being +160 underdogs in Los Angeles.

He'll now accompany the team on their California road-trip, where he figures to start either Tuesday in Anaheim or Wednesday in Los Angeles. Levi is 8-7-2 with a 3.32 GAA and .889 SV% in 19 NHL appearances this season.

Levi will start against the Kraken on Tuesday

Despite an excellent performance in his last outing, Levi had the night off on Saturday but will return to the crease on Tuesday as the Sabres look for their third straight win. After allowing three or more goals in four straight games (1-2-0), posting a lousy .850 SV%, Levi returned to form in his last contest, saving 32 of 33 shots (.970 SV%) in a 6-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens. The Sabres are slight -111 home favourites against the Seattle Kraken, who have been on fire lately, winning six straight, outscoring their opposition 16-6.
