Veteran Erik Johnson will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes, allowing Zamula to re-enter the lineup. The 24-year-old Zamula has two points (0G / 2A) while averaging 18:19 time-on-ice through eight games this season.

Zamula became a full-time NHLer in 2023-24, posting five goals and 16 assists (21 points) in 66 games. Zamula found himself on the Flyers top power-play unit at times but he'll likely be behind Cam York and Jamie Drysdale for that duty in 2024-25.

Zamula has been a healthy scratch for the Flyers' previous three games but will draw back in on Thursday vs. the Rangers as he takes the spot of Marc Staal. Zamula did not play on Saturday due to an illness but should return to the lineup on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks. The 23-year-old defender has 17 points (5G / 12A), 25 hits, and 60 blocks in 52 games.

Zamula will re-enter the lineup after sitting out Saturday, and will presumably reclaim his role on the Flyers' first power-play unit. Zamula has five goals and ten assists in 42 games this season.

Zamula was in the lineup for the last two games but will be scratched on Saturday vs. the Kraken. Zamula will be replaced by Nicolas Deslauriers, with the Flyers going back to 12 forwards and six defensemen.

Zamula has dressed in the Flyers last three games but will head to the press box Thursday vs. Washington as Marc Staal steps back into Philadelphia's lineup. The 23-year-old defender will get the night off but has been having an impressive season as he's set career highs in games played (21), goals (1), PIMs (12) and SOG (19) already while having a +9 plus/minus.

Zamula has four points (1G / 3A) in 18 games, a +10 plus/minus, and is averaging 15:18 time-on-ice. He is expected to skate alongside Rasmus Ristolainen on the third defensive pair.
