The Avalanche have acquired Graham Sward and Yakov Trenin from the Predators for Jeremy Hanzel and a 2025 third-round pick.
Sward was the fifth-round pick of the Predators in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old has not made his professional debut yet and has 73 points (15G / 58A) in 58 games with the Wenatchee Wild of the WHL.
