Henrik Zetterberg News
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Detroit Red Wings coach Mike Babcock likely will shuffle his top lines frequently through the course of the second-round playoff series with San Jose, but he might start Game 1 Friday with Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg on the same line.
Lines updated.
Zetterberg on Friday got in what he said was his first full practice since suffering a sprained left knee on April 6 in Carolina and said he is ready to play. The Red Wings' next round won't begin until late next week.
Henrik Zetterberg will not play in Monday's Game 3. He is still listed as day-to-day.
Just asked Babcock whether Zetterberg will make the trip to Phoenix and he said that's the plan, so he can "play here real soon." #detphx
Zetterberg skated for about 15 minutes by himself before practice. He said he ramped up his off-ice workouts and he wasn't wearing a brace on his left knee. He said he is day-to-day, with no decision made yet on his status for Game 2 Saturday against Phoenix (1 p.m., NBC). 19+ | Please play responsibly! | Terms and Conditions apply
