Calgary has signed Hunter Brzustewicz to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Brzustewicz was the third-round pick of the Calgary Flames in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and has earned himself a three-year, entry-level contract. The 19-year-old is in his second season with the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL and has 85 points (12G / 73A) in 65 games this year.

The Flames have acquired Hunter Brzustewicz, Andrei Kuzmenko, Joni Jurmo, a 2024 first-round pick and a conditional 2024 fourth-round pick from the Canucks for Elias Lindholm.

Brzustewicz was a third-round pick (No.75 overall) of the Canucks in the 2023 NHL Draft. The 19-year-old defenseman is in his second year with Kitchener (OHL), where he leads all OHL defensemen with 69 points (8G / 61A) in 47 games.
